Well it has been a little while since my last post so I thought I should keep you all informed of the latest goings on from the South Family.
Firstly I would like to start with a commendation for the boys from Simonside………………… sorry the boys from Simonsides caterer. The post match ‘bait’ as the lads like to call it was absolutely incredible, I am lead to believe that the sponsorship comes direct from Gordon Ramsey. No doubt the best bait in the league, then again I come from a club who suffers such delicacies as coleslaw sandwiches and the Board Inns special ‘heartburner pie’, served by a slightly heavy ladyboy.
But in all seriousness I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon up at Simonside, the food selection second to none, my personal favourite was the sausages individually wrapped in their own finger house alongside the various pizza selection. There was allsorts to tuck into and boy did we not take advantage, although the hostility in the club house was a little intense the generosity can only be applauded. A day we will never forget….Cheers Simonside.
Next up….SS have officially named the new club doctor……ie me. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all involved in the appointment, but mostly Anth, the hunkiest manager I have ever had the pleasure of playing with. I love you.
Following my appointment I will be working my own weekly forum in which you can ask me any questions or just ‘let off some steam’ so watch this space.
Lastly I would like to say how excited I am for the forthcoming Christmas period, the South family have allsorts of fun nights arranged, one of which I would like to reiterate – 20th Fancy Dress teamed with our skippers birthday so come on brothers lets make it a big one! |

Hi Doctor i have asked Gav to ask a question for me as i dont have a computer. I am very nervous but here it goes.
I have incredibly huge hands and it really getting me down. All the lads ribb me about 'my problem' but they dont understand how it feels. Little boys and girls are scared of me when i walk down the street as my knuckles drag along the ground. Also when i play football, my opponents are terrified of me and think im some sort of babboon. It even gets me down when i go to the toilet for a wee, cos my albert looks tiny in these massive mitts. Please help me

| Iwill have to agree that the best bait in the league comes up at Ebchester without a doubt. Closely followed now by Sima. Also now that we at Birtley Have a new venue , The Coach and Horses we should be challenging for the best bait title ourselves. I suppose its better to win that one than nowt at all. Anyway lads keep up the crack on the forum , its great to see someone having a bit banter on it. after all thats what its there for. |

Howay lads on your news thats pathetic....read your previous comments on all your match`s there all south is that a feel good factor for your players. The lina on our side had a bad game and the 1 on your side had a great game does that not tell you something thats what your saying(read between the lines?),,,and for pulling us after the game about "letting the ball go through his legs" at the end ov the game you said boo to no 1...
Maybe if you could finish you might ov been in with half a chance but you seem to 4 get the chance`s we had??
ARe long ball tactic now that funny coming from a team with a long throw(which is used as there only weapon) ..
And just to finish off if people read all your previous news they will see what a see which is only 1 side!,if your going to write just about you it becomes boring and just to get the record straight the celebrations at the end has a respect to youse and the fact were like that on whoever we play!! |

Listen Harwood son, I think yous have a great set-up, a good and well run club. The people beyond the " managers" are very nice people. The hospitallity at Sima is first class. I even think yous have really good side with some good players, your captain, Eddie, flood, the kid at the back (who scored 3 against us) top draw players. My argument and comments were aimed at some of your line who are becoming an embarresment to a good club. All i am going to say is if you think im wrong just ask some of your more senior players what they think of the line during the game. As for me not telling your manager what i thought of him for what he did just ask him, i rekon i got my point across. Also harwood, you were saying my team is reliant on a player with a long throw he has a broken leg and has been out for a few months. maybe you see things different to me . Maybe yous already think yous have won the league by your silly comments about my club..........but them kind of things sometimes back fire
All my love

For starter`s mate dont down talk me by calling me "son",as for pulling the managers dima never said nothing to me about and am the other. About your website like a say would be good if you actually told the hole storey....As for winning the league youse are saying that we have not us! understandably youse are going to want seaham to win it butits a tight race and it will be intresting to see wht happens in the end but what a can say who ever does even if its not us al be sure 1 of the first people to congratulate them, yes your team has got better footballing wise since the last time we played youse, but am sorry were not long ball team |

Ha Ha!!!!! your very touchy The only problem i have is during our game someone from your line was constantly shouting " get at him hes f***ing shite" also " close him down heres rubbish" now thats comments i cant stomach. If you are one of the managers i would have hoped if you heard this you would have stopped it, as i would never let this happen with my line/supporters. Its disrespectful am sure you will agree. Also what happened at the end with yous wasting time. The person who done that should have known better, you know what inccident im talking about. As for my onesided Match reports There was nothing to report from the Sima point of view......yous only had 2 shots all game and yous scored from 1, which i commented on. The other was tipped over easilly by the keeper. If you can remember any other chances yous had i would love you to put them on here. ON THE DAY we battered yous, and yous know we did, but you have to put the ball in the net which we never. Im not bothered who wins the league mate, al congratulate who ever its is...i have no alliance with Seaham its just i know most of there players and manager well. Good luck to all the teams at the top. |

Well just on the chances front floody went 1 on 1 and dragged it wide and are left winger got it at the back stick and missed an open goal Yes youse played very well and i would agree in my eyes that a draw would ov been a fair result,as for battering us its a bit steep that youse played very well take nothing away but we also played very bad...but it comes down to results and no doubt if youse could play like that every week youse will do better than what yis are,as for your match reports there good to read but not when its not the hole truth..like the lina, chances and the way we adapt areselves a think its dis-respectful to say such things! |
