Alreeeeet everyone, just introducing the new team in the league Sunderland South, who will be playing there home fixtures at Layburn road Ground (Houghton complex). We have been up and running as a team for 2 years playing in the Wearside Combination league. The Team was formed by myself Steve Patton and Anth Cooper after a boozy chat at the local playing under the name The Board Inn Football Club. We are very ambitious and are hoping to do well this year. Hi Guys, Welcome to the league, always good to see new teams and new faces, hope you find it a good league to compete in and have a bit of sucess this season. Hello Patta, seems this site is very quiet mate but hopefully it may pick up this season like the wcfl site, who knows. Should be an interesting season mind, yourselves being an unknown quantity in this league, may surprise a few!

Magpie, I am with Seaham Kitchen Magic but I know most of the S/land sth lads and your right can see them doing well.

i played in goal against em on saturday mate. i reckon theyll do well, hav a lad playin just off the main striker who was awesome but a pretty good all over the park

Aye thanks lads, we have just beaten Birtley Town Res at home 2-1 tonight in a very bad tempered affair, we were confortable throughout and in my opinion we should have had a couple more. Terrible at the end with one of the Birtley lads assaulting one of our players after the whistle, but thats for the refs report, and well see if the league act upon it. Thanks Magpie for your comments mate the lad you are talking about is called Neil Maddison who we nicked from Durham City at the end of last season. Alreet Butler mate, hows life at Seaham, judging by your first 2 results you must be enjoying it ......... Yous are the team to beat i think this year mate got a good side, whitehills i am told are good aswel, see you next wed lee................
